Cake Britain

‘Cake Britain’ (a delightful pun on Tate Britain) was presented by the Mad Artists Tea Party at The Future Gallery in London from 26-29 August 2010.
Artists were paired with master cake bakers to create an edible exhibition.

I worked with Crumbs and Doilies to make some mini Burgermen cakes.
Other artists involved included The Felt Mistress, Miss Cakehead, Pete Fowler, Stuart Semple and David A Smith.

The show was curated by cupcake-maker Lily Vanilli. It received loads and loads of press coverage from all around the world from BBC World Service, The Times, The Independent, Time Out, The Guardian, Evening Standard and loads of other places too.
It was sponsored by Tate & Lyle.
